Ok was saw bit of TV program about Chinese and the invention of gun powder.
One thing struck me (in a Mr-T voice) “pity the poor feller” who had to experiment to get mixture right. Apparently they were looking for solution to every lasting life and blow themselves, the building and generally everything near one day.
Also as it was said on this program kind of ironic the a substance that came out of the search for life has killed so many.
