AOL Hell & Firefox
AOL Hell
Well as you may have read on Deity blog had loads of trouble with AOL anyway it started with AOL stopping our service because we where causing dos attacks on a website. After clearing system, checking virus protect, installed firewalls.
We had service with AOL again then according to them it happened again if we tried to speak with department who said we were causing problem we got “sorry we cant do that”…
After that they stopped our account fine we moved to a new host (good excuse as wanted to anyway)
So we started with Freedom2Surf no problem very helpful in getting sorted.
We then after a day got an email saying same as AOL but difference they had this info in

from that saw it was my podcast client and when looked into it aruntx.com feed is corrupt and it was trying to download a file all the time and they had complained to f2s.
But call to f2s told them what problem was and that as soon as got home would delete feed but need net now as Deity was at home. They said no problem turned net back on and when got home deleted the feed.
I also sent a email to aruntx saying about there feed but no response as of yet.
If AOL had just sent this info when they did it would not have had the problems..
Firefox
On Another note have gone over to using Firefox as browser been using it on and off now for a while but always gone back to Opera.
The best thing about Firefox is grease monkey add on which means can use scripts to alter website for example adding a delete button to gmail etc can found many different scripts here
Other extension for Firefox that is great is Stumble Upon which is channel surfing for web pages you select categories of websites and then click on stumble button and it gives you a random pages like this page of Sideway Chalk Pictures

If you like Opera and you like Greasemonkey you might have a look at Opera’s User JavaScript feature. The UserJS.org has a good collection of User JavaScripts and tutorials for making your own.
firefox has been a great side kick for me for the last 6 months. extensions making my searches and coding more easy and navigate pages.
