EduGeek Conference
Be meaning to post follow up to EduGeek Conference which had few weeks ago.
First we had Andy Gorton from BECTA and gave a very interesting talk on standards in ict support that BECTA are currently creating.
Steve Rochford gave a workshop on scripting and gave some very good ideas and resources.
Next john Ingleby from SchoolForge UK and Andy Trevor from Cutter project gave talks abut cutter and opensource. Next a very interesting talk on moodle from Paul Chapman from Leicester College.
Then we had Tony Riddle talking about integrating apple into windows network unfortunately we had few technical problems with Tony’s talk but we got through it..
At moment we are going through video and getting ready to release on it the web and before we even finished that we are working on the next one next year…
Anyway had very positive feedback and in our view one most unique conferences due to there not being any other kind of conference that we know of that is for ict support staff in education that is not put on by a vendor.
